McDonough serves as the Founder and CEO of Melanin On The Map, an app dedicated to travelers of color. With her years of experience producing culture-based digital content, McDonough combined her 3 passions of travel, culture and storytelling in efforts to give new experiences to minorities. Being first-generation American and having traveled to over 10 countries before the age of 25, McDonough realized early on the positive impact travel had on her life and made it her life's mission to help minorities create their own life experiences.
